Terms of Service: Tutoring

Welcome to Reign Tuition! These terms of service govern your access to and use of the services provided by Reign Tuition, a tutoring company located in Johannesburg, South Africa. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. Nature of Services:
   Reign Tuition provides private tutoring services to individuals seeking academic assistance. Our tutors offer personalized lessons in various subjects, helping students to improve their understanding, skills, and grades.
2. Eligibility:
   Our services are available to students of all ages and education levels. However, for students under the age of 18, parental or guardian consent is required before registering for our services.
3. Registration:
   To access our services, you may be required to create an account by providing accurate and updated information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Tutoring Sessions:
   Tutoring sessions are typically conducted in person at mutually agreed-upon locations or online via video conference platforms. The scheduling and duration of the sessions will be agreed upon by the student (or their parent/guardian) and the assigned tutor. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure they are prepared for each session with the necessary materials and completed assignments.
5. Pricing and Payments:
   Details regarding pricing and payment methods applicable to our services will be provided by Reign Tuition. Payments are due in advance of each tutoring session or in accordance with pre-determined payment plans. Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension or termination of services.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling:
   Cancellations and rescheduling of tutoring sessions should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance, except in cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in session fees being charged. Reign Tuition reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions in the event of tutor unavailability or other unavoidable circumstances. We unfortunately do not offer refunds for monthly packages, where the tutor has already covered 20% of the agreed lessons; unless or otherwise Reign Tuition decides to cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. However Reign Tuition can offer a substitute tutor at their sole discretion.
7. Code of Conduct:
   All users of Reign Tuition’s services are expected to adhere to ethical conduct. This includes treating tutors, staff, and other students with respect and refraining from any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior. Any violation of this code may result in immediate termination of services.
8. Limitation of Liability:
   Reign Tuition and its tutors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes or improvements, as they depend on various factors beyond our control.
9. Intellectual Property:
   Any materials, resources, or content provided by Reign Tuition during tutoring sessions remain the intellectual property of Reign Tuition and/or the respective owners. These materials are intended for personal use by the student and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written consent.
10. Privacy Policy:
    We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for more information regarding the collection, use, and protection of your personal data.
11. Termination:
    Reign Tuition reserves the right to terminate services or suspend access to our platform at any time, for any reason. This includes but is not limited to violations of these terms of service or breaches of conduct.
12. Amendments:
    These terms of service are subject to change at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to regularly review these terms. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications made.
